With a 25 year professional background in Organisational Development Consulting, Shirley is the founder of CDL Insight and continues to take a very active part in both strategic and operational aspects of the business.

Passionate about the business, Shirley is often described as a ‘workaholic’ by colleagues and clients. She works closely with her management team and takes immense pride in the evolvement of CDL Insight as a leading OD Consulting firm. Shirley is always available as an additional point of contact for clients locally and internationally.

Shirley has a proud reputation within the industry for providing best practice advice and assistance that enhances business and people capability both within New Zealand and offshore. She was invited by CPI, the world’s largest talent management firm based in the US, to be Vice President Asia Pacific and was also appointed as International Representative to the Board of Directors. She has written numerous articles on various aspects of change management, downsizing, retention and engagement strategies for industry related publications and  receives many requests to advise and support Directors and Chief Executives from many leading businesses within NZ and offshore.

Shirley has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Auckland University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Arts from Otago University. She also has several teaching and counselling related qualifications. Shirley is a Professional Member of the Association of Psychological Type and in her leisure time is an active member of the service organisation, Rotary International.
